Snow Day

Yesterday was our first snow day of the year. It was definitely appreciated because I needed a break. A break from school. A break from constantly thinking and thinking about what homework I’ll have to do once I get home. Yesterday was just relaxing. And it’s exactly what I needed. I started out my snow day by sleeping through my alarm. I woke up at 8:30 and thought I was late. I looked at a text from my mom and she said “Didn’t want to wake you but you have a snow day. I’ll be at work. Let me know if you need anything.” So, I rolled over and went back to sleep until 10:45. At 11, one of my friends texted me and wanted to go get brunch with 2 of the football players. All 4 of us went to The Shack for brunch. Expensive. But yummy. Then we went shopping because tomorrow, some of the players are wearing suits to school. The managers were asked to join in and so we needed to go shopping for a blazer and dress pants. A blazer and dress pants aren’t cheap just in case you didn’t know. I dropped everyone off and then went home. Guess what I did when I got home? Fell asleep until 6:30. Then I woke up and decided I was craving Mexican. So I went and picked up one of my best friends and we went to get Mexican together. He had just gotten a new puppy so after dinner I went to see the puppy. Oh my gosh she’s precious. We got ice cream after which was fun. Then guess what I did when I went home? Took a shower and went to bed.
